Our Syariah Law team offers practical and sensitive legal support for individuals navigating the complexities of Islamic family and inheritance law. Our team is able to assist clients in the following areas of Syariah Law:
- Divorce in the Syariah Court of Singapore, including advice on the grounds of divorce (talak, fasakh, taklik and khuluk) as well as on ancillary matters such as the division of matrimonial assets, maintenance (nafkah iddah and mutaah), and child custody
- Variation of Syariah Court Orders
- Islamic Wills and Estate Planning, including advice on the distribution of assets under Muslim inheritance law (faraidh)
- Probate and Letters of Administration for Muslim Estates
