Employment disputes practice

One of our core areas of expertise, our lawyers are deeply familiar with the employment landscape in Singapore which gives our clients the advantage in potentially costly disputes.

We have acted for both individual and corporate clients in a wide variety of contentious matters including but not limited to:

  • Assisting companies under investigation or prosecution by government / tripartite bodies such as the Ministry of Manpower, CPF Board, IRAS and the Tripartite Alliance for Fair Employment Practices


  • Breach of employment contract claims including non-payment of salary, bonuses, commission etc


  • Conduct of and structuring of retrenchment or restructuring exercises


  • Conduct of investigations arising from employee or anonymous whistleblower complaints including complaints of workplace harassment, workplace discrimination and illegal conduct in the workplace


  • Conduct of investigations against employees for suspected wrongful conduct such as fraud, theft or wrongful dissemination of confidential / business-sensitive information, breach of fiduciary duties, breach of company policy and negligence

  • Termination of employees of all levels (including c-suite employees)


  • Wrongful dismissal and constructive dismissal claims
