Kym’s litigation experience has continued in her current role at Titanium Law Chambers LLC, wherein she now represents some of the biggest players in the construction and insurance markets.  Through her broad background and experience, Kym is able to implement a unique, commercially-minded approach to her cases, and come up with innovative solutions to achieve win-win outcomes for her clients.

Some of Kym’s notable cases are as follows:

  • Successfully defended against a claim by a large multi-national corporation against our client, a voluntary Chairperson of an MCST, for alleged inducement of breach of contract and / or statutory duties by said MCST.
  • WGE v WFG [2023] SGHCF 26: Represented the appellant-wife in her appeal to the High Court, wherein we successfully appealed against the lower court’s decision by increasing the value of a key matrimonial asset by over 60%, and increasing our client’s indirect contributions ratio by 18%.
  • WPN v WPO [2023] SGHCF 38: Represented the defendant-husband in a long-running divorce action, where we successfully reduced the value of the pool of matrimonial assets (which involved a number of complex assets) from more than $100 million (as claimed by the wife) to some $50 million, despite persistent allegations against our client that he had not made full disclosure of his assets, and that he had severely undervalued his shares in various private companies.

Kym also has a number of published articles on Wealth and Society, wherein she discusses various considerations that those going through, or intending to go through, divorce proceedings (in particular, high net-worth individuals with substantial assets) may wish to consider  (https://www.wealthandsociety.com/user-post-updates?authorid=Josephine+Chong+and+Kym+Anstey).
